Step 1: Import Your Footage

Start by going to File > Import > File and select your video or image. Drag it onto the timeline to automatically create a new composition. This footage will serve as your base layer for adding retro elements.Step 2: Open AEJuice Pack Manager

Navigate to Window > AEJuice Pack Manager 4 to launch the AEJuice panel. Make sure you’re logged in and have access to the full AEJuice library. From here, you can browse and manage all available animation packs.

Step 3: Download the Radical Retro Elements Pack

In the Pack Manager, find the Radical Retro Elements pack. If it hasn’t been installed yet, click on it to download. Once completed, the pack will be available for preview and import.Step 4: Choose and Import Retro Elements

Scroll through the pack and pick a retro animation that suits your design — for example, AEJuice Radical Retro Elements Atmosphere Color 02 for a background. Click on it and press Import to add it to your composition. It will automatically resize to fit your comp.

You can also add a foreground element like Object 01. After importing, position it wherever you like in the scene. Step 5: Customize the Imported Elements

To integrate the object layer with the background better, change its Blending Mode. Right-click on the layer, go to Blending Mode, and select options like Screen or Add for light-based integration. You can also go to Effects & Presets and apply Hue/Saturation to tweak the color and create the exact look you want.

Step 6: Stack, Animate, and Combine
